I’m very careful about the food I cook in my kitchen especially with my little one’s diet restrictions. Did you know that the pots and pans that you use to cook your food can add chemicals to your food? Even non-stick coating is believed to chip off and mix in the food that you cook. Now, there’s a new technology that makes it possible to cook without fear of chemicals getting into your food. The Ozeri 10” Green Earth Frying Pan is the latest addition to my kitchen. This pan features a natural ceramic coating that is free of PTFE and PFOA.
The component PolyTetraFluoroEthylene or PTFE is found in many of the ceramic cookware products. This non-stick coating decomposes and releases fumes when heated at high temperatures. According to authorities, these fumes are considered to be harmful to humans and fatal to birds and small pets. Another component PerFluoroOctanoic Acid or PFOA is considered to be an environmental pollutant.
The non-stick coating of the Ozeri Green Earth cookware line is called GREBLON ceramic. This German technology does not cause harmful toxic fumes even when heated in high temperature. This cooking surface is considered to be more durable than the conventional ceramic and non-stick cookware. It’s also scratch-resistant so there is no danger of the coating getting worn down.
I especially love that I can sauté and pan fry our food without using as much oil at all. The food cooks evenly and turns out to be perfect every time. The textured cooking surface allows the heat to move around the air pockets underneath the food. It also has a magnetized bottom and a silicone coated handle that is heat resistant. I have this pan and OMG I LOVE it! I love how quick it cooks. And it seems a bit faster on my infred stove too! This lil mean green frying machine ROCKS!
That is an awesome pan . That would be a great addition to my cookware collection. With it’s special feature, the more I would love to get me more of their products.

I recently threw away a “teflon” coated pan because the coating was breaking down and coming off. Talk about gross and scary. I have an inexpensive ceramic pan that I bought on a whim, but this one sounds so much better! Thanks!

i would love to get a good ceramic pan. this is a nice looking pan and seeing that it is green (colored) makes me want it even more.

I would say that I cook 98% of our meals at home. I never stopped to think about what the pan and whether it is putting off anything toxic? Wow…something to think about! This pan is so pretty BTW!

I’ve heard of these before. They look great but I’m skeptical as to how well they will hold up to the rigors of daily use. I guess time will tell.
