You can’t help it. With all the holiday eating, you just might find yourself with a not-so-pleasant tummy one of these days. It could be from eating too much or from eating food that did not agree with your stomach. Whatever it is, there are some natural remedies that you can concoct in your own kitchen to ease a bad tummy.
Among the more popular natural ingredients are chamomile, peppermint, and ginger. In most cases, these ingredients are infused in teas. You can drink the tea and have a bland diet for at least a day to settle your stomach. Make sure that you drink water too especially if you are suffering from diarrhea.
In the days after your recovery, make sure that you stay away from fatty, spicy, and overly salty foods. These are likely to irritate your tummy again and steal you away from the holiday merry-making.
An ounce of prevention though is better than a pound of cure. So do make sure to control your eating and you will have a more enjoyable holiday.
