How to Protect Your Family from Cyber Leaks

Parents and kids are into Facebook, Twitter and other social media networks. Cyberspace made it a lot easier for stalkers to monitor your every movement. Here are some ways on how to protect your family from cyber stalking:

  • Make sure that you disable geotagging in your social network accounts.
  • Accept only friend requests from people that you know. Once you have accepted a request blindly, that person may have access to your personal information which can be use to steal your identity.
  • Use strong passwords; it should not be something that is related to you like your birthdate, your kids’ name or your partner’s name. It choosing a password, use alphanumeric and symbols.
