For Sean’s birthday and Christmas, I wanted to give him something really special. So I did a lot of research around the net and asked around as well.
They say if you ask little boys what they want to be when they grow up and Policeman, Soldier, and Firefighter will be among their top choices – next to being Batman, Superman, Spiderman or any other super hero that is. I guess boys do have this innate machismo and tend to act savior and protector. Even my little Sean wants to be a superhero someday. So when I saw the KidKraft Everyday Heroes Play Set
, I knew that he would be ecstatic to receive it and would enjoy pretending to save people from fires and criminals.

It looks pretty much like a doll house but instead of fancy trimmings and delicate designs, you have detailed bricks, windows and everything else you can see in a fire station and police station. And instead of pretty dolls, you get a fire fighter and a policeman.
The play set opens up to reveal 3 floors with 12 different rooms that include a fire fighter’s pole running from the top floor to the bottom. The fire fighter and the policeman are easy to bend and pose and can come to anyone’s rescue in a flash with any of the three vehicles – motorcycle, fire truck, and helicopter. To complete the ensemble are two dogs and other furnishings you normally find in stations. The play set is also big enough for several kids to play together that it’s bound to be the center of attention during play dates with Sean’s friends.
This toy isn’t just kid-friendly, it’s also mom-friendly. For one, there are no complicated assembly instructions to follow. That means, we won’t have to call Dad to come to our aid with his handy tool box but of course Dad can’t help but get excited to put it all together. Then, clean up is also a breeze as the entire thing folds up easily and can be stored in a jiffy. Oh, and did I mention that this play set can keep kids entertained for hours? Yeah, that gives us moms a few hours free from fussy kids to do some chores or to prepare dinner.

This is a great play house, I have 4 kids: 2yr old boy, 4yr old boy, 8yr old girl and a 16 yr old girl, so needless to say there r many girl things in our house but this would be a great treat for our boys to play with:-)
