Now that my son is not a little baby anymore, I am more confident on going on long trips. Our little prince is fast growing and we now get to enjoy travelling together and discovering new places and varied cultures. Now I know you will agree with me that we moms love to travel with style. We carefully choose our outfits and make sure that even our luggage and bags match our ensemble.
We have lots of trip planned for this year so when I got the chance to review one of the duffel bags for boys and girls from Posylane, I was ecstatic! Their products are so stinking cute!!! I wish I had lots of kids so I can get them each of the duffle bags and back packs they have there. I got Sean the personalized Navy Orange Mint Duffle Bag. I chose a dark color specifically because I know it will be tossed around on the plane hence it will get dirty quickly.

A duffel bag of his own is a great idea. I remember how excited I was when I had my first bag to take on overnight visits. If this bag accompanies your child out into the world, though, I’d be cautious about putting his name on the side of it. Initials are better for those situations; people can gain your child’s trust if they know his or her name–kids won’t always remember that the stranger could have read it from his bag. Not a criticism, just something to think about.

Looks like a regular duffle bag that you can get anywhere. Size is small, but if you are just letting a boy use to carry some things like you would a little girl carrying a purse, I guess it would be great.

I like these personalized products, however, you have to be very careful about displaying your kids names on things they will carry around with them. It makes it way way too easy for a kidnapper or pedophile to take advantage of them. Kids are just not saavy enough to click that this person who knows their name only knows because its emblazoned on their bag! ie: Sean, Sean, Your mom’s been hurt, she sent me to get you and bring you to the hospital, hurry!” See how easy it is?
