Wising Up on Good Deals and Freebies

Everybody loves free stuff.  There are ways through which money-wise mommies can get loads of free stuff and discounts without having to fall in line in front of sampling booths. These freebies are not merely free stuff. You can make wise use of these freebies to stretch your budget. Not every freebie is a good deal though. When you have to spend for something that is not in your budget just to get a freebie that you do not have much need for, you are throwing away good money.

There are also a couple of money-wise tools that mommies can use to get freebies:

Credit Cards – most credit cards today give out free stuff like movie passes, pastry treats, and specialty drink vouchers for every minimum amount spent. Charge away to get these freebies but only if you are buying stuff that you absolutely need and that you have the money to pay for when your billing statement comes in the mail.

Shopping Cards – a lot of the supermarkets, grocery stores, and even bookstores have shopping and loyalty cards that let you earn points with your purchases. Once you accumulate enough points, you can either use them towards your future purchases or exchange them for premium items. For as long as you do not have to pay a huge amount in membership fees, these cards can work to your advantage.
