An Apple a Day

As the saying goes, “An apple a day, keeps the doctor away”. Young kids can be picky eaters and as much as you want to serve healthy and nutritious foods; they would not even take a bite. Stay at home moms have tried to cook every interesting dish possible just to entice the little ones to eat healthy foods.  There are times that this trick works but most of the times it is a big failure. Here are some things that parents can do to encourage the little ones to eat veggies:

  • Walk the talk. Be a role model to your children, if you want them to eat veggies then set an example by doing it yourself.
  • Start at young age. Instead of buying those baby meals in the grocery, you can prepare your own baby foods. You are assured that the food is safe and all-natural too.
  • Get the children involved in preparing foods, they would love to play little assistants and they would surely eat what they have prepared.
