Our family really enjoys going to the movies from time to time. All the kids especially love being able to escape into their own fantasy world with movies like Ice Age (the third installment, The Continental Drift is really great on 3D) and Spiderman. Watching movies is made even more enjoyable when we go to theaters such as the Vue cinemas where we feel really comfortable. We love the premium seating and the amazing views when we go to see the latest silver screen features. We usually go online to check what films are showing and then we pre-book our tickets so we do not have to fall in line at the ticketron.
Since our extended family often comes with us during our movie trips, we try to take advantage of discounts on Vue family movies at the cinema. Their Kids AM offer is really a wonderful deal we take advantage of during weekend mornings – we only have to pay the discounted ticket prices for kids watching movies Saturdays and Sunday mornings and on all school holidays! A different set of discounted ticket prices applies to kids aged 13 to 18 as they are already classified as teenagers. The Teen Tickets offer is also an offer that is too good to pass up especially when you have movies like the Avengers and Snow White and the Huntsman currently screening.
When choosing movies for the children, I make sure that they are properly classified and contain age-appropriate content. It is always a good idea to accompany your children when watching movies. Take them to see the movies yourself or, if they want to go on a “group date” with their friends, you can perhaps tag along as a chaperone. Choosing the cinemas you go to is also important in as far as security and safety is concerned. Vue multiplex cinemas are secure and safe. Their high-tech cinemas and facilities are constructed following industry set standards. When you have peace-of-mind and are comfortable in your surroundings, watching movies can be a great bonding activity for the entire family and for groups of friends as well.
